7 arrested in connection to series of “window-smash” burglaries in Lompoc

Seven people have been arrested during the service of warrants at an apartment complex in Lompoc early Wednesday morning.

The suspects were arrested in connection to a series of smash-and-grab burglaries that were reported throughout the summer.

At around 6 a.m. Wednesday morning, law enforcement served search warrants at two apartments in the same complex on the 500 block of North G Street. With the assistance of the Santa Maria Police Department’s SWAT Team, the warrants were served without incident.

21 people were originally detained on Wednesday, of those 21, seven have been arrested for outstanding warrants and other complaints related to the thefts.

The seven people arrested are:

David Martinez
Mason Force
Richard Linde
Adrian Garcia
Estefania Arias

Each person faces various charges which could include burglary, possession of stolen property, and grand theft of a vehicle.
