Narcotics found, wanted felon arrested in Santa Maria

A wanted felon arrested in Santa Maria faces drug possession and weapon charges.

Officers from the Santa Maria Police Department Special Enforcement Team (SET) conducted a narcotic investigation on Friday around 7 p.m.

The investigation led them to the 1000 block of West Morrison Street in Santa Maria, according to a news release.

Officers say they seized 59 grams of Fentanyl, 144 grams of Heroin, 102 grams of Methamphetamine, drugs scales, drug packaging material, $1,215 in cash, a loaded firearm and ammunition.

They said the firearm had been previously reported stolen during a residential burglary.

30-year-old Christopher Allen Alley was charged with possession of fentanyl for sale, possession of heroin for sale, possession of methamphetamine for sale, possession of stolen property and the $1,215 cash was seized pending asset forfeiture.

Alley is a convicted felon and was also charged with felon in possession of a firearm and felon in possession of ammunition.

Alley also had warrants! out for his arrest from Santa Clara County, San Luis Obispo County, Santa Barbara County and Ventura County.
