Police search for Boost Mobile robbery suspect

The Ventura Police Department is asking for the public’s help to track down a man who robbed a Boost Mobile store Sunday.

According to the Ventura Police Department, officers responded to a 911 call from an employee of Boost Mobile in the 2700 Block of E. Thompson Blvd. just before 4:30 p.m. Sunday. A man allegedly walked into the store and handed the clerk a note stating that he was armed with a gun. The suspect then demanded money from the cash register. The clerk complied and the suspect ran off.

No gun was seen and the clerk was not injured. The suspect is described as a white male, 30-40 years old, wearing a hoodie, black shirt, black pants, and riding a red bicycle. He was last seen fleeing from the business on a bicycle heading west on Thompson Blvd., police said.
