Jelly fish invade Channel Islands Harbor in Oxnard

People walking along the Channel Islands Harbor near Seabridge in Oxnard are likley to notice hundreds of jelly fish.

Nina Crane shared a photo of her daughter kayaking near the ampitheatre with jelly fish all-around,.

Crane believes they are moon jellies, that got their name from a space shuttle experiment.

The Monterey Bay Aquarium website said moon jelly fish indicate an ustable ecosystem.

The jelly fish are known to reproduce in areas with nutrient-rich run-off and or a lack of oxygen.
