Ventura police find vehicle suspected of fleeing hit-and-run scene involving 14-year-old boy

The Ventura Police Department found a vehicle believed to be involved in a hit-and-run on Tuesday.

Authorities seized a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which they believe hit a 14-year-old boy on his skateboard on March 14 at around 10 p.m. on the 10900 block of Darling Rd.

No major injuries were reported however, investigators have begun a forensic analysis of the damage, in order to compare it to the evidence that was left at the scene of the incident.
