Santa Clara Saints win another CIF State Playoff game
The rematch produced the same result, another Santa Clara High School boys basketball win over Sage Hill of Newport Beach.
This time the Saints beat the Lightning 54-44 to advance to the CIF SoCal Regional semifinals where they play at top-seed Bakersfield Foothill on Saturday.
Santa Clara beat Sage Hill for the second time in less than a week as they also knocked them off to win the CIF-Southern Section Division 5AA championship.
