Colorful Flower Girls spread pre-Fiesta joy

Some of the colorful ambassadors of this year’s Fiesta celebration, the Fiesta Flower Girls, spent Tuesday morning spreading joy and handing out flowers to residents at Casa Dorinda and the Friendship Center in Montecito.

“I met a nice lady who said it made her day,” said Harper Tolmei. “How did that make you feel?” our videographer Joyce Roberson asked her. “Good,” Harper said.

“I think they felt like they got some attention and I think they felt kind of special,” said Arias Asacosta. “Made me feel happy.”

Fiesta flower girls participate in Old Spanish Day’s events in the weeks leading up to the official kick-off, which is Wednesday.

You’ll enjoy seeing them at dozens of events throughout the five day celebration.
