Dak Prescott is against protests during the National Anthem

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said that his team will stand during the national anthem and that is fine with starting quarterback Dak Prescott although he said Jones’ statement had no impact on his opinion.

At training camp in Oxnard, Prescott said, “I never protest during the anthem and I don’t think that’s the time or venue to do so,”

Prescott said that kneeling during the anthem was about raising awareness about social injustice and says it is now time to take the next step rather than kneeling.
