Santa Barbara YouTube creator wins Silver Creator Award

In a letter to Santa Barbara County resident Rebecca Brand, YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki said hard work, perseverance and a healthy sense of humor paid off.

YouTube presented “Rebecca Brand Recipes” with its Silver Creator Award for passing 100,000 subscribers. Brand’s page views are in the millions. Rebecca thanked her subscribers, friends, and fans for helping her career take-off and not just on social media.

This local artist, chef and producer also has something else to celebrate. Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim just hired her to host “Dialing for Dollars”. Brand explains how to play on her Rebecca Brand Facebook page and win cold hard cash.

Fans are likely to see her being followed by a camera crew around town, and she often casts people to be in her productions.
