Man dies from injuries after Oxnard shooting

A 44-year-old Oxnard resident has died from injuries he sustained in a shooting earlier this week.

Police say Juan Oscar Gutierrez was found Monday around 1 p.m. in the north alley of the 1000 block on West Gonzales Road in Oxnard. Gutierrez was transported to Ventura County Medical Center in critical condition.

He died from his injuries on Tuesday. The shooting is now being investigated as a homicide.

The city of Oxnard is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading an arrest of suspect(s).
