St. Joseph hires Pepe Villasenor to coach football

If Jose ‘Pepe’ Villasenor is successful as a head coach as he was playing high school football, the St. Joseph Knights have hired a winner.

St. Joseph’s introduced the former St. Bonaventure High School star as their 15th head football coach in school history.

Pepe caught over 100 passes in 1996 as he helped lead the Seraphs to a CIF title.

He is in the St. Bonaventure Hall of Fame.

He was an assistant coach under Jon Mack at St. Bonaventure and Crespi High School.
