Former Dons superstar Melgoza is All-Pac-12

Amber Melgoza scored a big honor as she was one of just 15 players to be selected to the women’s basketball All-Pac-12 team.

The University of Washington sophomore was the second-leading scorer in league this year at 18.6 points per game. Last week she scored a career-high 40 points against Stanford, that was the highest point total of anyone in the conference this year.

Melgoza graduated Santa Barbara High School as the Dons all-time leading scorer and she led the Dons to a CIF Southern Section championship and a State title game appearance.
