Warren Miller’s “Line of Descent” puts people in the mood for another ski and snowboard season

Warren Miller’s “Line of Descent” screened for one night only at the Lobero Theatre in Santa Barbara on Tuesday night.

Fans may have hoped to hear Warren Miller’s famous narration, but the 93-year-old isn’t the narrator or the director this time out.

Warren Miller Entertainment’s 68th full-length feature film is narrated by Olympic mogul skier Jonny Moseley and directed by Chris Patterson.

Like other Warren Miller favorites, the film, presented by Volkswagen, contains globetrotting downhill thrills and plenty of spills.

Skiers and snowboarders taking their seats said Warren Miller movies gets them psyched for the season.

Moviegoers had a chance to learn about a number of ski areas and received a magazine filled with discount codes for lift tickets to Squaw Valley, Snow Valley, Crested Butte, Solitude and Steamboat.
