Gallagher family adopts young boy in Atascadero

The Gallagher family from Atascadero has a little more to be thankful for this holiday season.

Dennis and Tammy Gallagher have four biological children, four adopted children, and have fostered more than 70 children.

Now, they have decided to adopt Kyler who has various special needs.

The family had many challenges in the adoption process but they say this season has been extra rewarding for them. Especially now that Kyler is legally their son.

Kyler was born with a condition where his joints are frozen.

To better accommodate Kyler’s needs, the community will help retrofit the family home.
