Dodgers themed baked goods hit a home run in Ventura

One Ventura bakery is getting in the World Series spirit. The Sugar Lab Bakery is making hundreds of Dodgers themed cookies and cupcakes.

The bakery has been making the sweet treats ever since the dodgers made it to the playoffs.

Bakery owner, Alison Davis says they have sold out of their items and are working around the clock to make as many as possible.

Davis says “it’s definitely something that has been consistently selling and the more we’ve been making the more we’ve been selling. Yesterday we were bagging cookies before the shop was open and people were buying them as we were bagging them so we really couldn’t get them out fast enough. It’s just been crazy.”

Davis says if the dodgers take home the World Series title, she will have a Dodger-themed day at her shop.

The bakery shop is located at 5936 Telegraph Road in Ventura. They are open Tuesday to Sunday from 10 until 6 p.m.
