Multiple structures catch fire near Lake Nacimiento

Fire crews responded to multiple structures fires near Lake Nacimiento Monday night.

The Meadow Fire was first reported at around 7:30 p.m.

Responding firefighters initially found a single story structure on the 4200 block of Allen Road that was fully engulfed by flames.

The structure, possibly a garage, was burning with power lines knocked down and nearby structures threatened.

The flames eventually spread to two nearby homes.

Cal Fire is at the scene and we will have more updates as they become available.

According to Cal Fire public information officer Chris Elms, the first structure and a home were destroyed. Firefighters were able to save the third structure.

Fire crews are expected to remain on scene for multiple hours.

All occupants escaped unharmed. No injuries have been reported yet.

Ten engines and firefighters from Cal Fire, San Luis Obispo County, Paso Robles, Templeton and San Miguel assisted with the fire.
