One killed in traffic accident in Camarillo

One person is dead following a traffic accident that occurred in Camarillo Tuesday morning.

Just before 6 a.m., police responded to the intersection of Adolfo Road and Tahquitz Drive for a crash involving two vehicles.

Investigators determined that a white Saturn was at a stop sign when they pulled out directly in front of a Chevrolet Silverado.

The two vehicles collided in the intersection and damaged a light pole.

The driver of the Silverado suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

The driver of the Sonic was transported to the hospital with major injuries. He died at the hospital as a result of his injuries the following day.

He has been identified as Robert Lang, 60, of Camarillo.

The crash is currently under investigation and anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact Ventura County Sheriff’s Senior Deputy Sam Dominguez at (805) 388-5146.
