Southern California’s hottest summer event is this weekend in downtown Oxnard. Enjoy spicy foods and sizzling entertainment at the Oxnard Salsa Festival. The Saturday and Sunday event at Oxnard’s plaza park is free to attend. If you want to enjoy the main stage concerts, open seating is $5.

CRIME-A-CON, A CRIME PREVENTION FAIR | SATURDAY | 10AM – 2PM | OXNARD POLICE STATION

If you want to fight crime, join the Oxnard Police Department this Saturday for its Crime-a-Con. The family friendly event will have tips on crime prevention, demos, raffles and a shredder. It all takes place at the Oxnard Police Department from 10am-2pm.

GREEK FESTIVAL | SATURDAY & SUNDAY | 11AM-7PM | SANTA BARBARA’S OAK PARK

It’s great to be Greek, even if it’s just for a weekend. Enjoy the very best of Greek food, music, dancing and culture at the Santa Barbara Greek Festival. The free event is both Saturday and Sunday at Oak Park.
