Kiley Neushul scores 4 goals as Team USA wins World Championships in water polo

Former Dos Pueblos High School star Kiley Neushul scored a game-high 4 goals as the Team USA women’s water polo team won its record fifth FINA World Championships gold medal by beating Spain 13-6.

They are the first team to win worlds the year after capturing the Olympic gold medal.

Kiley’s younger sister Jamie Neushul who also starred at DP along with recent San Marcos High School grad Paige Hauschild are also on Team USA.

With the final tied at 3, Kiley Neushul and Maddie Musselman scored as the U.S. led 5-3 at the half and pulled away in the second half.

Neushul was named the finals MVP while Musselman was named MVP of the tournament.
