Paso Robles 7-Eleven clerk violently punched in face during robbery

Paso Robles police are searching for two suspects who robbed a 7-Eleven store on July 2. They hope the community can identify the two men caught on surveillance camera.

Police said the suspects entered the store located in the 2300 block of Spring Street at about 1:30 a.m. and concealed alcohol they had grabbed from a displace case.

The store clerk told police he saw the men conceal the products under their clothes and confronted them as they began to exit the convenience store. One of the suspects was able to get away and fled the area on foot with the stolen alcohol.

The clerk tried stopping the second suspect from fleeing the store but was violently punched in the face, according to the Paso Robles Police Department.

“Suspect #2 intentionally knocked over a display case and then grabbed additional merchandise before fleeing out the front of the store and leaving the area on foot,” said the police department.

Authorities released two photographs of the suspects taken from the store’s surveillance cameras.

Anyone with information regarding this crime is asked to call the Paso Robles Police Department at 805-237-6464. You can chose to remain anonymous.
