Anyone wanting to show their support for the family is invited to join us. Noah Scott, the Lompoc teen battling a hard fight against leukemia, lost that battle on Friday. The Lompoc Police Department confirmed the teen’s passing.

Team Noah, the Facebook page dedicated to providing updates to the community on the hard-fought efforts of the former police explorer, saw a post Friday from Noah’s parents that reads:

“It’s with great sadness that Kristin and I say goodbye to our Noah We move from prayers of healing and comfort to PRAISES of a race ran well, and a fight fought with grace and a life lived to the fullest! Rest my son, my hero! #yougotthiskid”

Arrangements are made to bring Noah home to Lompoc. He had been at UCLA Medical Center for treatment.

Noah is the son of Lompoc Police Corporal Charles Scott.
