Hot rods fill the streets of Carpinteria for annual show

People lined the historic Linden Avenue in Carpinteria Saturday for one of the most popular Fourth of July weekend events.

The Rods and Roses auto show celebrated its 20th year of bringing classic cars and fundraising to Carpinteria.

The yearly event is a fundraiser for non-profit organizations, including Future Farmers of America, Hope Net and the Carpinteria Education Foundation.

Those that took to the streets for the car show were also treated to Carpinteria’s Independence Day parade.
