Santa Barbara protesters join national ‘March for Truth’

Protestors in Santa Barbara took to the streets Saturday morning as part of a nationwide protest.

The ‘March For Truth’ is a national event that calls for an independent probe of President Trump’s alleged ties to Russia.

At 11 a.m., people gathered at De La Guera Plaza to make signs, listen to guest speakers and discuss the purpose of the march. From there, protestors marched through the streets of downtown Santa Barbara to the beach before disbanding.

Organizers said that the Santa Barbara march is one of over 130 across the country.

The group’s Facebook event says that 140 people were interested in attending.
