Oxnard Library turns 110

Oxnard Public Library held a big birthday bash on Saturday.

The library turned 110.

The first library was built with a donation from Andrew Carnegie.

It is now a museum.

The city is home to three libraries.

Library Director Sofia Bellos-Kimsey said community members love them all.

On Saturday the main library had author book-signings, storytime, crafts and a Friends of the Library book sale.

People dressed as popular book characters were also roaming around.
