Two men sent to hospital after late night Oxnard shooting

The Oxnard Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred late Thursday night in the 2000 block of North Ventura Road.

Police said they got the call at 11:14 p.m. and quickly located two male shooting victims. One of the men received a minor gunshot wound, according to authorities, while the other suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

The Oxnard Police Department said the injuries are non-life threatening.

Police described the victims as a 54-year-old man and a 55-year-old man. Neither of their names has been released at this time.

Both of the men were taken to Ventura County Medical Center for medical treatment. They’re both listed in stable condition.

No arrests have been made and there is no suspect description at this time.
