Downtown Fridays back in Santa Maria

Downtown Fridays is back in Santa Maria by popular demand.

The event was a big success last year. It takes place across the street from the theater and Town Center on Main St.

The collaboration between the city and local vendors helps local “mom and pop” businesses. There’s a lot of food options like Santa Maria tri-tip, hot dogs and dessert.

There was fun for the whole family too – an inflatable jumper and a beer and wine tent for the adults.

The event will go until October every Friday from 5 pm – 8 pm.

There’s also a local farmer’s market, live music and kid’s activities.

Overflow parking is available at the parking structure at Town Center East by Macy’s, with access across the Broadway pedestrian bridge.

The Downtown Trolley circulates on a 15 minute loop from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm from the parking structure and event area.
