POLAR BEAR PLUNGE | AVILA BEACH PIER | SUNDAY | 11:45 AM
The fifth annual Avila Beach Polar Bear Plunge is a celebration of fitness, nature, a New Year, comraderie and still having dessert! Meet on the South side of the Avila Beach pier at 11:45am for pictures and encouragement from fellow plungers. Spectators and photographers can gather on the pier for the best vantage point of the plungers. There is no fee to participate. No alcohol allowed, no diving from the pier. Plunge attire is swimsuit and/or athletic gear. Costumes are always welcomed.
