Paso Robles Vegetation Fire

A vegetation fire in the open space adjacent to 1919 Creston Rd. and Stoney Creek in Paso Robles burned through a quarter of an acre of tall grass Tuesday evening

About 20 Firefighters from the Paso Robles Department of Emergency Services,
CDF/SLO County Fire Department and Templeton Fire Department
contained the fire in 17 minutes.

Mop-up and overhaul of the area was performed to fully extinguish all of the material burned.

Paso Robles Public Works was requested to assist in breaking up large mulch piles located within the fire perimeter. All units were released at 7:54 p.m. No firefighter injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is unknown.

The Department of Emergency Services would like to remind all community members that as we enter fire season to complete all necessary weed abatement as soon as possible.
