La Playa Stadium at SBCC Closes for Renovations
La Playa Stadium is closed at Santa Barbara City College for renovations. Crews will be doing work on the track and other areas of the stadium for the next four weeks.
All entrances will be off limits to students and the public.
Each year there are over 30,000 hours of use at the stadium by students as part of their courses. It is also popular with the public for workouts, along with high school football and the Easter Relay competitions.
The stadium will reopen July 2.
