Court of Champions to Honor Jerry Harwin

The late Jerry Harwin loved sports and his son Joel Harwin said that basketball was Jerry’s favorite.

The local icon who lived to be just over 100 years old will be one of twelve people inducted into the Court of Champions on Sunday night at Santa Barbara’s Cabrillo Arts Pavilion.

Harwin was a co-founder of the Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table and organized the process of purchasing Elings Park which is the largest privately funded park in the country.
