Starbucks Opens Military Family Store in Port Hueneme

Starbucks is designating its Port Hueneme Starbucks in the Mandalay Village Marketplace into a Military Family Store.

It is the 25th Starbucks to be dedicated to military families in the country, and the first along the Central Coast.

The store is located near the Port Hueneme Navy Base and its goal is not only to support the military community but also to offer military veterans, and spouses a place to work.

Starbucks has made a commitment to hire 10,000 veterans and military spouses by 2018. So far it has hired more than 6,500 military veterans and military spouses. The company hopes unique stores like this will help it reach its goal.
