DP Softball’s Rally Falls Short
Dos Pueblos showed their character by scoring two runs with two outs in the seventh inning to tie La Quinta at 3. But the Blackhawks prevailed in extra innings, winning 4-3 in eight innings in this CIF Division 4 quarterfinal.
Down to their last strike in the top of the seventh, Sienna Wagner singled to right to drive in two runs.
La Quinta won the game with a sacrifice fly.
Ariana Cruz drove in the first run of the game with an RBI single to right to score Ali Milam.
Kiara Mendoz and Mia Olvera homered for La Quinta.
