Resurfacing Projects on US Highway 101 and SR 154 Start Next Week
Cal Trans will resurface parts of U.S. Highway 101 and SR 154 starting Sunday.
Northbound US 101 within the Gaviota Tunnel to one half mile south of the SR 1 separation will be under construction starting Sunday, May 8. Lane closures can be expected from Sunday through Thursday from 7 pm to 3 pm and on Fridays until 1pm.
On Monday, May 9 resurfacing will start on SR 154 from US 101 to one mile west of Foxen Canyon Road. Motorists will be dealing with one-way reversing traffic control Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. and 8:30 am to 1pm on Fridays.
The projects are expected to be completed in June 2016 at an estimated cost of $700,000.
