Barrels Fall from Truck Briefly Closing State Highway 154 in Santa Barbara
Seven barrels of drilling mud fell off a CalTrans flatbed this morning in Santa Barbara. A Santa Barbara County Fire Crew on the scene assisted in the clean up.
The accident occurred as the truck made a turn at State Highway 154 and State St.
No vehicles were hit, and no one was hurt.
Traffic was briefly stopped while the area was cleared.
CHP, and a second CalTrans crew were called to the scene. There were no immediate environmental concerns.
