Fatal Head-On Collision Reported Near Santa Margarita
At least one person has been reportedly killed in a head-on car crash just east of Santa Margarita in San Luis Obispo County.
The collision was reported at about 6:15 p.m. Saturday near the area of Highway 58 and W. Pozo Road.
The California Highway Patrol reports that as of 6:30 p.m. both highway lanes are blocked.
Calfire SLO has crews on scene to assist. They communicated on their Twitter profile that Highway 58 would be closed for approximately an hour.
