Heroin Dealer Arrested for Manslaughter

Police arrest a heroin dealer on manslaughter charges in Oxnard.

Oxnard resident Ryan Tepezano, was arrested in January after search warrants were served for two residents in the 2000 block of Curran Street in Oxnard.

At that time Tepezano was arrested on a slew of charges including maintaining a place for drug use and/or sales and felon in possession of a firearm.

Tepezano pleaded guilty and is currently serving his sentence at the Todd Road Jail Facility.

Wednesday, narcotics detectives concluded an investigation into a December 2015 possible heroine over dose case.

Christopher Ariaz was found unresponsive in the 1000 block of Offshore Street in Oxnard last year.

Tepezano was arrested again at the Todd Road Jail and charged with manslaughter and sales of heroin with an enhancement of causing great bodily injury.

He remains at the jail and will be arraigned Friday at 1:30 p.m.

His bail was set at $250,000.
