Creekside Inn, Renamed Boondocks, Shuts Down in the Goleta Valley

With many unanswered questions, the recently renamed restaurant in the Goleta Valley known as Boondocks is closed. It was known for years as the Creekside Inn.

The location on 4444 Hollister was well known as a popular dance location with western music during the week, and a variety of local rock bands on weekend.

The Creekside changed to Boondocks in early January but in less than two months it has since gone dark.

A sign in the window says the location is closed for improvements. Phone calls go to a number that is disconnected.

Those familiar with the site say the shut down came without warning and many aspects of the operation were scheduled for weeks ahead.

The building has some signs missing, but furniture is inside and some operational materials are in a back storage location.

(more details will be added as they come in)
