Police Identify Shooting Victim in Santa Maria Friday Night Homicide
One person is dead after a shooting in Santa Maria Friday night.
Santa Maria police were dispatched to the area of Smith and Cook streets at about 7:39 p.m.
Officers say they located a male victim outside a residence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Authorities have identified the victim as Abrahan Rojas, a Santa Maria resident.
Rojas was treated by medical personnel and transported to Marian Medical Center but died as a result of his injuries.
