Pacific Coast Highway Set To Reopen

Pacific Coast Highway near Malibu is set to reopen on Friday.

The stretch of highway from Yerba Buena Road to Las Posas Road has been closed for the last 3 months due to extensive damage from rain storms, debris slides and high surf.

Officials say motorists and outdoor enthusiasts are looking forward to the highway reopening.

Six-miles of the 9-mile closure were opened to the public on Feb. 3. The remainder is set to open Friday.
