Juvenile Skateboarder Collided With Car Windshield

A juvenile on his skateboard went into a windshield after striking a car in Santa Maria on Thursday.

The 17-year-old was traveling northbound on his skateboard approaching the intersection of Taft Street and Curryer Street, when he rode off the curb and into the path of a 2007 Volkswagen Jetta.

The driver immediately applied her brakes, but the juvenile collided with the front of the vehicle’s hood.
