ICE Building Nearing Completion in Santa Maria

Construction is almost complete for the new Immigration and Customs Enforcement Building in Santa Maria.

The new building includes rooms to interview people and space to detain undocumented people for up to 12 hours; those held longer than 12 hours will be taken to a federal facility near Vandenberg.

12 employees now working in Lompoc will move to the Santa Maria facility which is expected to open in late spring.
