Santa Barbara International Film Festival Presents Virtuoso Awards

The Santa Barbara International Film Festival presented the 2015 Virtuoso Awards Sunday night.

Seven actors were honored for their outstanding performances in cinema.

“These are seven exemplary performers who provide us with undeniable evidence that 2014 was a dynamic year in acting,” said Roger Durling, SBIFF executive director.

Two of the selected actors are Academy Award nominees, including J.K. Simmons for his role in “Whiplash” and Rosamund Pike for “Gone Girl”.

Also honored were Chadwick Boseman for “Get On Up,”-Ellar Coltrane for “Boyhood,”- Logan Lerman “Fury,”- David Oyelowo “Selma,”- and Jenny Slate for “Obvious Child.”
