Smartphone App Designed For Designated Drivers
There’s a new smartphone app for designated drivers just in time for New Year’s Eve.
The DD VIP app gives Californians a list of bars and restaurants that offer free or discounted beverages to sober drivers.
State Senator Hannah-Beth Jackson and the California Highway Patrol unveiled the app Monday morning.
Sober driving is especially on the minds of law enforcement with the upcoming New Year’s holiday.
The app also allows people to order a sober ride home from companies like Uber and Lyft.
