Free Christmas Trees for U.S. Troops

Military families up and down the coast are celebrating the holidays with a donated Christmas tree.

Anthony’s Christmas Trees and Union Bank are participating in the local “Noble Fir For A Noble Cause” program. It’s part of the nationwide “Trees For Troops.”

175 military families from Port Hueneme to San Luis Obispo are getting a free tree.

25 families in Santa Barbara picked up their evergreen trees at the Earl Warren Showgrounds.

For those servicemen and woman who are unable to come home for the holidays, the trees are going to them.

25 Christmas trees were loaded up on a fed ex truck and will be shipped to military bases.
