‘Turkey Cuts’ in Goleta Brings in Donations for the Food Bank
Turkey cuts at Goleta Barbers will put food on the table for the needy this holiday season.
All day customers have been bringing in turkey donations to owner Pete Jimenez and his staff in exchange for a haircut.
The turkeys will be brought to the Santa Barbara County Food Bank.
Goleta Barbers is also taking part in a holiday toy drive and will soon be collecting toys for needy children.
The shop is located at 5870 Hollister Ave. in Old Town.
Jimenez says his crew will cut hair until the last customer and turkey donation comes through the door today.
