Luncheon & Fashion Show Benefits Santa Barbara County Families
It was all about food and fashion Saturday to help raise money to support families in need across Santa Barbara County.
St Vincent’s had its annual luncheon and fashion show at Bishop Diego High School.
The event featured raffles, a silent auction, and fashion show by Chico’s.
Proceeds go to their programs helping struggling families.
“This is specially dedicated to our family strengthening program which serves young single Moms who have been homeless in the last year,” said St. Vincent’s president Sister Margaret Keaveney. “And have been hoping to really take 2 years out of their lives to improve their parenting skills and to really look to sustain their family in the future.”
Our own Meredith Garofalo modeled in the show and sang grace.
St. Vincent’s helps more than 600 at-risk, low-income, families, children and seniors secure safe, affordable housing. They also provide high-quality and loving childcare and pre-school education for children.
