Latino Student Success Honored at Santa Barbara City College

Santa Barbara City College was recently honored as America’s top program in the associate degree category for increasing Latino student success.

Elected officials and higher education leaders came together in our nation’s capital to honor Santa Barbara City College’s express to success program this week. The program was selected from 217 programs in 26 states.

It was launched back in 2011 with nearly 300 full-time students. The program now expects to enroll more than 12 hundred students this year.
