Shirin Takes Ice Bucket Challenge!
The Ice Bucket Challenge has soaked the nation. Politicians to professional athletes and celebrities are even getting in on it.
The challenge involves pouring ice water over ones head and challenging others to do the same or make a donation to to fight ALS.
Between July 29 and Aug 12, The ALS Association and its 38 chapters have received an $4 million in donations compared with $1.12 million during the same time period last year.
NewsChannel 3’s Shirin Rajaee was nominated by the nonprofit organization Dream Foundation. She took the challenge Thursday at Santa Barbara’s West Beach.
