Big Response Called for Two Small Carpinteria Fires
Two small fires in Carpinteria brought out a big response when four agencies were notified this morning.
The fires were on Via Real south of Summerland. They were stopped quickly but Chief Michael Mingee with the Carpinteria-Summerland Fire Protection District called them “suspicous.’ He asked the public for help if they know how they were started.
