Dons Race Past Knights

Amber Melgoza scored a game-high 21 points as Santa Barbara defeated St. Joseph 61-46 to advance to Saturday’s championship game of the Gold Coast Tournament.

Jada Howard scored 15 points while Jocelin Petatan added 12 points, 10 steals and 7 rebounds. Senior Desirea Coleman scored 10 points for the 6-1 Dons.

The title game is 7 p.m. at San Marcos High School.
